Nokia to introduce even cheaper Windows Phone handsets

So far Nokia’s strategy with their Windows Phone handsets has been to price them competitively. This pricing strategy extends to their flagship handset, the Lumia 900 whose price is cheaper compared to that of the high-end Android devices. With the company set to debut the Lumia 610 at MWC next week, there are reports that Nokia could in fact unveil even cheaper Windows Phone devices on top of that.

If we had to guess, we’d say that these cheaper Windows Phone handsets will most likely run on the yet-to-launch Windows Phone Tango update, an update that supposedly is being aimed at lower-end Windows Phone handsets. At the moment none of this can be confirmed, so if you’d like to give Windows Phone a try but you’re not willing to drop the money for the flagship Lumia 900, check back with us next week during MWC as we will keep you updated on the situation!
