Motorola DROID 4 gets wireless charging feature

For those who’d rather not deal with cables and power plugs strewn across the floor or table, the good news is that the Motorola DROID 4 from Verizon will be getting a wireless charging feature. If you were planning on getting your hands on the device eventually, you’ll be pleased to hear that the device will be getting an inductive charging kit of its own. Basically what the inductive charging kit is an replacement cover for your DROID 4’s battery door, but this time will sport inductive charging capabilities instead.

It will set you back $40, and all you’d have to do is place the DROID 4 with its new inductive charging kit onto a power mat and you should be able to charge your device without and wires (with the exception of the power mat). However if you do not have the power mat, you should be able to pick one up for yourself from anywhere between $40-$70 depending on who you buy it from. Pop on over to Verizon’s website if you’d like to order the inductive charging kit for the DROID 4.
