Heads up to our friends in Europe, it looks like HTC will be launching their very 4G LTE capable handset for Europe in the near future. This is according to Vodafone Germany who revealed that the HTC Velocity will be arriving in Germany, although no specific date was mentioned. For those unfamiliar, the HTC Velocity for Vodafone Germany will essentially be the HTC Vivid LTE which was launched on AT&T’s network late last year, although this would be HTC’s first 4G LTE foray into the European market.

In terms of specs, the HTC Velocity will remain the same internally as the HTC Vivid LTE, which for those who might have forgotten, includes a 4.5” qHD 540×960 display, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, an 8MP rear-facing camera capable of 1080p Full HD video capture, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, and will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread as its choice of operating system, and will also be available in a striking white color. Once again, no word on when the device will be launching or how much it will cost, but we expect more details to be revealed in due time.
