HTC One V headed to MetroPCS, US Cellular and Virgin Mobile

The HTC One V is the lowest-end out of the HTC One series of Android handset (One X, One S, One V), and if you’re shopping on a budget, then you will be pleased to hear that HTC has announced a stateside launch of the HTC One V on carriers such as MetroPCS, US Cellular and Virgin Mobile. Pricing has not been announced yet, but we’re guessing it will vary from carrier to carrier.

If you’ve missed the news or if you’ve forgotten about the HTC One V, the Android handset will sport a 3.7” display whose design is reminiscent to that of the HTC Legend. It will be powered by a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor with 512MB of RAM, a 5MP rear-facing camera, but best of all it will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich preinstalled. All in all this sounds like it could be quite a value-for-money handset, so check back with us as we will keep you updated regarding its launch and prices!
