HTC One S is HTC’s thinnest smartphone to date

Prior to MWC, there were rumors that suggested that HTC would be unveiling a trio of handsets, such as the HTC One X, One S and One V, and it looks like the Taiwanese company did not disappoint. Well if you’re thinking that the quad-core One X might show up with a price tag that’s out of your budget, fret not as the slightly less powerful One S could be another option for you.

The device will sport a 4.3” qHD AMOLED display and will see integration with Beats Audio technology. It will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and despite it being dual-core, it should by no means be thought of as “inferior” compared to the One X’s quad-core processor. It will also feature HSPA+ connectivity which means there is a chance we could be seeing it arrive on T-Mobile’s network in the future.

It will be powered by Android 4.0 and measures in at 7.9mm thin, making it HTC’s thinnest mobile device to date. Expect to see a launch in April later this year alongside the One X and One V.
