Chinon unveils Swift 7 and Swift 10 affordable Android tablets

Fancy picking up a new tablet for yourself but don’t really have a ton of cash to blow on higher-end devices like the Motorola Droid Xyboards or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1? Well the good news is that Chinon has announced two new tablets that won’t be breaking the bank any time soon.

The new models are the Swift 7 and Swift 10, with the former sporting a 7” display while the latter will sport a 10” display. Apart from the difference in sizes, both tablets are expected to feature a dual-core Cortex A8 ARM processor under the hood clocked at 1.2GHz, with 1GB of RAM and with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board. Not the most spectacular of specs we’ve seen, but we guess you get what you pay for. The Swift 7 is expected to retail for $160 while the Swift 10 will go for $280.
