AT&T’s Samsung Infuse 4G Android 2.3 update put on hold

For those who might recall, just last week we were told that AT&T would finally be rolling out the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Samsung Infuse 4G, but at the time of reporting, the download page was missing, a mistake which we assumed would be corrected by AT&T in no time. However as it turns out, the page is still down and the update has yet to roll out to Infuse 4G owners.

According to various reports, the reason behind the delay is due to bugs which have affected some Infuse 4G owners, which has prompted Samsung and AT&T to put the update on hold for now, at least until the issue has been resolved. We’re not sure what exactly the problem was, but if there are any Infuse 4G owners who might have already received the update, we’d love to hear from you guys if you’ve encountered any bugs/problems with the update so far that might have prompted it from being rolled out to everyone else.
