Apple’s iPad 3 launching first week of March? [Rumor]

If you’re looking forward to Apple’s next-generation iPad, the iPad 3, the wait might soon be over! According to a fresh set of rumors, it seems that Apple’s iPad 3 could be seeing a launch as early as the first week of March. This seems to coincide with previous rumors and is more or less around the same time that the iPad 2 saw its launch back in 2011.

Apple is expected to hold a special event to launch the device and according to sources, the event is likely to be held at San Francisco, presumably at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, a location that Apple has favored in the past and has used for announcements for major products. No word on when the device will actually hit the shelves, but assuming Apple keeps to their habits, the iPad 3 will most likely be available for purchase roughly a week after its launch.

As excited as we are about the impending launch of the device, we’ll take this particular rumor with a grain of salt for now. Apple has been rather successful at evading rumors in the past, so we don’t see why it should be any different this time round. In the mean time check back with us from time to time for updates!
