If you’re in the market for a quad-core tablet and you’re unwilling to drop the cash for the more expensive ASUS Transformer Prime tablet, you might be interested in checking out the Acer Iconia Tab A510, the successor to the A500. The A510 was unveiled during CES earlier this year and is expected to be made available in France late March for a price of €399.

In terms of hardware, users can expect a 1.3GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor under its hood with 1GB of RAM, a 10.1” 1280×800 display, 32GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a whopping 9,800mAh battery and will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board. Not too shabby, right?
