While Sprint will be getting the ZTE Optik tablet, Verizon owners will have to contend with the ZTE V66 tablet, whose specs on first glance does not appear to be too different from the Optik. Either way, the good news is that the ZTE V66 has recently made its way through the FCC which hopefully is an indication that the tablet will be launching soon.

For those who might have forgotten, the ZTE V66 features a 7” 1280×800 display, a 1.2GHz processor under the hood with 1GB of RAM, Android 3.2 Honeycomb as its choice of operating system, along with a 4,000mAh battery along with compatibility with Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

Pricing and release date remain unknown at this point, but perhaps more details will be revealed at MWC 2012 which will be held at Barcelona, Spain on the 27th of February. Until then, any takers?
