For those of you shopping for an Android tablet on a budget, you might be interested in taking a look at the upcoming ZTE Optik tablet that is expected to make its way into Sprint’s online stores in February, and physical retail stores in March. It will set you back $99 with a new two-year contract, and $349 off-contract.

So what will you be getting for your money? Well for starters you can expect a 7” display, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM under the hood, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 4,000mAh battery and will come loaded with Android 3.2 Honeycomb. Of course we’d have preferred if the ZTE Optik came with Android 4.0 instead, but for $99 we can’t really complain! So, any takers?
