Upgraded Galaxy Nexus spotted on NenaMark benchmark tests

The Galaxy Nexus was released on Verizon’s network not too long ago, and we know that Sprint will be getting their hands on the device some time in the near future as well, but will they be getting the same device? Interestingly it seems that the Galaxy Nexus has appeared on NenaMark benchmark tests and it seems to be sporting a different processor altogether.

At the moment the current Galaxy Nexus features the TI OMAP4460 processor with the SGX540 GPU, but the benchmark results have shown this particular Galaxy Nexus model with the SGX544 GPU that can be found in TI’s OMAP4470 processor, which while capable of being clocked to 1.8GHz is shown to be clocked at 1.3GHz. It’s true that the test results could be spoofed, but it would be quite a hassle not to mention to what gain?

Either way could we be looking at an upgraded Galaxy Nexus headed to Sprint’s network, or could we be looking at another device altogether that is using the Galaxy Nexus name to throw people off their scent? What do you guys make of this?
