There have been several reports from ASUS Transformer Prime owners in the US who have complained about a certain WiFi bug that has been affecting their device. However the good news for those in the UK looking forward to getting their hands on the Transformer Prime will be relieved to hear that the UK version is apparently free of that WiFi bug. According to ASUS UK who recently released a statement:

“As part of our unwavering commitment to our customers, we wish to allay some recent concerns regarding the Eee Pad Transformer Prime TF201. After extensive checks we can confirm that no units have been supplied to the UK with a known WiFi issue. Any customers experiencing WiFi issues specifically are advised to contact our support hotline on tel. 0870 1208 340.”

If that wasn’t enough to allay your doubts and fears, ASUS has also reminded UK consumers about their rights to return the product within 30 days for a full refund, and on top of that, and possibly to keep UK customers from returning the device, ASUS has extended the warranty of the ASUS Transformer Prime from 12 months to 18 months.
