Some of you guys might be familiar with the Porsche Design P‘9981 Blackberry smartphone, but for those who aren’t, it’s basically a more luxurious Blackberry smartphone that has been designed in Porsche’s stylings along with its branding. Originally available as a GSM model, a new Porsche model has popped up that has been revealed to be the Porsche Design P‘9531 which could very well turn out to be the CDMA version of the P‘9981.

In terms of its hardware, the P‘9531 seems to be the same as the P‘9981. What this means is that users can expect a 1.2GHz processor under the hood, 8GB of internal storage (that can expanded to 32GB via microSD) and will run on Blackberry OS 7 with a special Porsche theme designed for it. Based on those specs and the design of the device, it’s safe to assume that the P‘9531 could very well be the CDMA version of the P‘9981, in which case it looks like those on Verizon/Sprint with the cash to spare could be looking forward to dropping about $2,000 for the Porsche Design P‘9531.
