Nokia Belle update to roll out in February

While Symbian may not exactly be the most favored platform when it comes to smartphones, undoubtedly there still tons of Nokia users out there still using the operating system. Well the good news for these users is that according to a tweet by Nokia (as pictured above), the Nokia Belle (yes, it has been renamed to Nokia Belle from Symbian Belle if you may recall) update is expected to start rolling come February of 2012.

No specific dates were mentioned but given the month of February is particularly short, we should be able to expect the update to land any time during then. The handsets that will be receiving the Nokia Belle update includes the Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia E6, Nokia X7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia C7, Nokia 500 and Nokia Oro. For those who are still considering getting a Nokia Symbian device, the Nokia N8, C7 and the C6-01 have been confirmed to come with Nokia Belle pre-installed.
