Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX arriving 26th January?

One of the woes of the original Motorola Droid RAZR was its battery life. Well the good news is that for those who attended CES just last week, you may remember the unveiling of the Droid RAZR MAXX, and according to Motorola will see a release on the 26th of January. For those who didn’t, the Droid RAZR MAXX is essentially the Droid RAZR just with a much larger battery stuffed inside that supposedly will provide much longer battery life, but would naturally compromise on its “razor-like” thinness.

The 26th of January date was supposedly outed by Motorola on the Droid RAZR MAXX page, but we guess it has since been removed. Either way if you’re looking forward to getting your hands on the RAZR MAXX with a 3,300mAh battery with an increase in thickness to 8.99mm (some might argue that it could be nicer to hold), the 26th of this month could be the date you’ll want to mark down on your calendar.
