Huawei Honor with Android 4.0 to launch on China Unicom

Some time back in December, Huawei demonstrated the Huawei Honor running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Considering that the device was launched with Gingerbread 2.3, a update to Android 4.0 was definitely a welcome move by those who might have purchased the device. Well the good news is that Huawei together with China Unicom will be launching an Android 4.0 powered Huawei Honor some time during February, but unfortunately there is no word if the update will eventually be rolled out on an international scale prior to the release, or if China Unicom will be having the exclusive rights before it is made available to the rest of the world. For now if you happen to live in China and you’re looking for an Android 4.0 powered handset, the Huawei Honor might be a phone worth checking out next month.
