HTC Primo with Beats Audio has its press shot leaked

It seems that thanks to a leaked photo as pictured above, what we are looking at is an upcoming Android smartphone by HTC. The device is being dubbed as the HTC Primo and there is a very good chance that it will be making its debut appearance at MWC 2012 in February at Barcelona.

In terms of specs, if the Beats Audio logo did not already give it away, the HTC Primo will be another Beats Audio integrated Android smartphone by the Taiwanese company. Rumor has it that under the hood, the HTC Primo will feature a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3.7” qUD AMOLED display made from Gorilla Glass, a 5MP camera capable of 720p HD video recording, and will even be powered by the latest version of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Granted it’s not the most powerful Android handset HTC has in their stable, but the HTC Primo is expected to be marketed as a mid-ranged device, so with an AMOLED display and Beats Audio integration, we expect it should be a somewhat popular choice amongst those who might be unwilling to fork out a ton of money for higher-end devices. Either way do check back with us during MWC 2012 to see if we have further details of the device.
