Verizon promotional mailer knocks off $100 on any 4G smartphone?

It appears that Verizon, perhaps in the spirit of Christmas, has been sending out flyers to some of their customers basically telling them that the flyer would entitle them to receive $100 off ANY 4G smartphone from the carrier. We’re not sure what sort of customer you have to be in order to receive the flyer, but you might want to check out your mailbox.

It seems that this $100 discount can be used for any 4G phone and does not limit it to older or cheaper stock. It will be valid from now until Christmas, and given that the Galaxy Nexus is rumored to be dropping soon on Verizon’s network, you could be saving yourself $100 on the device, thus bringing the price on contract down to $199 from $299.
