Verizon offering trade-in program for southern states in the US

If you live in the southern region of US, Verizon has a treat in store for you. Residents living in NC, SC, TN, GA, AL, FL, MS, AR, OK, TX and LA are now being offered the chance to trade in any used/old phones in exchange for a gift card that could potentially net you $300 worth of credit that you will be able to use towards getting yourself a brand new phone.

All the customer has to do is bring in a used phone to any of Verizon’s stores where a rep will evaluate the condition and worth of the device, after which the customer will be given a gift card of appropriate value. Given how Verizon is still a business, we doubt the carrier has plans to give away many $300 gift cards, but hey, if you have old phones lying around and you’re looking to get yourself some new accessories or a new phone, some credit is better than none, right?

Like we mentioned earlier, this offer is currently extended to the states listed above in the southern regions of the US, so if you live in the northern regions, you may be out of luck unless Verizon decides to extend that offer upwards.
