It’s been an extremely long wait, but it’s finally over. After being officially unveiled in Hong Kong a couple of months ago, and then going on sale in the rest of the world, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will finally be able to make it into the hands of eager consumers. According to a post on the official Samsung Mobile USA Facebook page, the 4G LTE version of the phone will go on sale starting tomorrow. Here’s what Samsung posted:

“The wait is over. Galaxy Nexus has arrived & is available 12/15 in all Verizon Wireless stores & online for $299.99. So who’s taking a bite out of the Ice Cream Sandwich?”

Finally, all those rumors about release dates can be put to rest. The flagship Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone will be in stores December 15th – who’s going to pick up one, and is anybody planning to start lining up tonight? In the meantime, you can play around with the Galaxy Nexus support simulator to get a feel of the phone.
