Samsung Galaxy Mini receives Android 4.0 port

Based on our previous report, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy Mini was left out of the equation when it came to Galaxy devices that would receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. Not to fret though, if you own the Samsung Galaxy Mini and have rooted the device, an Android 4.0 custom ROM is available for download.

However you should be warned that this build of Android 4.0 is currently in beta, and based on what the developer has warned explicitly, it is meant for developers only – basically people who should know what they’re doing as there is a good chance you could brick your phone in the process.

However if you are a developer or if you’re feeling particular brave, head on down to the XDA forums for the download link and instructions. Proceed with caution and at your own risk!
