Blackberry fans out there are probably aware of RIM’s plans to revive their company and regain some market share with their brand new operation system – BBX. According to early rumors, the first Blackberry to feature the BBX platform is called the “London” and photos of the alleged device have surfaced a while back. Now thanks to more leaks and rumors, we have some new names for several upcoming BBX devices scheduled for 2012.

These new BBX devices have reportedly been codenamed “Lisbon”, “Milan”, “Nevada” and “Black Forest”. Not much is known about Milan or the Lisbon, although some are speculating that the Lisbon could be a slider device reminiscent of the Blackberry Torch. However as far s the Nevada and Black Forest are concerned, those are devices you may want to keep an eye out for.

Assuming the rumors are true, the Nevada will be RIM’s effort at bringing BBX into a full QWERTY body design, much like the Blackberry Bold 9900, except instead of BB OS 7, it will run on BBX instead. The Nevada is said to arrive only in November of 2012, so anything could happen from now until then.

The Black Forest on the other hand is supposedly a 10” PlayBook tablet featuring sharp angles instead of the favored round corners. For those wondering how that much look like, the alleged image of the Blackberry London should give you guys some clue as to what you might expect from the Black Forest device.

Naturally none of this information is confirmed for now so we suggest that you take it with a pinch of salt. However if these rumors actually hold up and the products come into fruition, RIM may have a good chance of reclaiming their market share in 2012 and make a comeback.
