Both Samsung and Sony Ericsson have announced their plans for Android 4.0 and the list of devices that would be eligible for the update, and here to add to that list would be LG with a list of their own, although it does seem that LG will be later to scene than their competition.

According to LG’s Facebook page, come Q2 of 2012, the LG Optimus LTE, Optimus 2x, Prada 3.0, Optimus Sol, and MyTouch Q will be receiving the Android 4.0 update in Q2 of 2012. As for the rest of LG’s other Android phones, the LG Optimus 3D, Optimus Black, Optimus Big, Optimus Q2 and Optimus EX will only be seeing Android 4.0 come Q3 of 2012.

Of course those updates might be delayed pending carrier approval, but if all goes according to plans, owners of the above mentioned phones will be able to see the updates at those specified dates.
