Looking forward to getting your hands on a new tablet? The good news is that a photo of what appears to be LG’s Optimus Pad LTE has surfaced online. Word has it that the tablet will be launched by the end of the year, and given its LTE moniker, we’re guessing that if launched it will most likely be making its way onto either AT&T or Verizon.

In terms of hardware specs, the LG Optimus Pad LTE will feature a 1.5GHz Qualcom Snapdragon processor. It will come with 1GB of RAM, an 8.9” 1280×768 display, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and is said to ship with Android Honeycomb 3.2.1. The good news is that if the rumors are to be believed, the LG Optimus Pad LTE is primed for Android 4.0, so if you were to buy this tablet, there’s a good chance your tablet will be updated to Android 4.0 in the not-so-distant future.

No word on how much the LG Optimus Pad LTE might cost or when it will be launched, but given that we’re only a few weeks away from the end of the year, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any announcements.
