We know that Lenovo has several Android phones and tablets planned, but now it appears that the company has plans to expand their reach by adopting the Windows Phone platform as well. This was confirmed by Lenovo’s product manager, Chen Yue, who stated that their company has plans to release a Windows Phone device in the second half of next year.

Unfortunately not much information was given apart from that tidbit, so it looks like we’ll have to wait before we start seeing details/photos emerge. However given that Lenovo isn’t really a brand many would think of when it comes to mobile phones, we’re curious to see if their efforts with Windows Phone will yield a better success rate.
