HTC Fireball and LG Spectrum could be Verizon’s first 4G LTE world phones

The other day we reported on the LG Spectrum which by all accounts appears to be Verizon’s version of the AT&T’s LG Nitro HD. We also reported on the HTC Fireball which popped up in Verizon’s system but unfortunately little to nothing is known about the device for now. Well if these leaked internal screenshots are to be believed, and assuming we’ve read them correctly, both the LG Spectrum and the HTC Fireball could very well be the first two 4G LTE capable devices by Verizon that will play nicely with international networks.

This was evidenced by how both phones have been marked as “global” in Verizon’s internal system. Unfortunately apart from this additional piece of news, still little to nothing is known about the HTC Fireball, nor has there been any news about when both devices are expected to land on Verizon’s network. Given how they’ve appeared in Verizon’s system, some are speculating that it shouldn’t be too long before they make an appearance, and possibly at CES 2012.
