Grand Theft Auto 3 coming to iOS and Android next week

Good news fans of Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto franchise! If you just can’t get enough of the carjacking action and high speed highway chases on your computer or console, it seems that Rockstar Games has finally announced that Grand Theft Auto 3 10th Anniversary will be available next week (15th December) for selected smartphones.

This includes Apple’s iPad 1 and 2, iPhone 4 and 4S and the four generation iPod touch. For Android this includes the HTC Rezound, LG Optimus 2x, Motorola Atrix 4G, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Photon 4G, Samsung Galaxy R, T-Mobile G2x, Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Toshiba Thrive.

The game will set you back $5 and not to worry if you don’t see your device listed. We’re sure that Rockstar will eventually bring support to some of the latest Android handsets in a future update.
