Google+ app for Android updated

Published

A couple of days ago we announced that the Google+ app for iOS received an update and today, it’s Android’s turn. Google+ for Android now gets high resolution photo uploads, +1 voting of photos and comments, a new logo, and of course – search. The update also fixes Instant Upload for video (a feature officially supported since June, but hasn’t been very reliable). Messenger has also improved, with the ability see if someone is online and currently typing in Messenger conversations. Users can also start messenger conversations by entering a phone number, and links to posts and profiles now open inside of the app.

The usual bug fixes and stability improvements are present as well; head over to the Android Market to download the latest version of Google+ for Android now.
