Dell Streak Pro D43 with Baidu’s Yi launched in China

For those living in China, it looks like Dell has launched a new phone just for you guys in the form of the Dell Streak Pro D43. It’s basically the Streak Pro 101DL with two main exceptions – a difference in its model number along with the fact that it is running on the Baidu Yi platform as opposed to the Streak Pro 101DL with Android on board. Other than that it’s essentially the same smartphone with same hardware specs, just with a different operating system.

Of course it will come with several features catered towards Chinese users, such as basic Mandarin voice control, Baidu Chinese input along with Yi’s very own app store and 100GB of free cloud storage. Seems like pretty decent features, and if you’re interested in picking up one for yourself, it looks like the Dell Streak Pro D43 will be headed China Unicom’s way soon.
