Coby Electronics unveils Android 4.0 tablets for 2012

Looking to get your hands on a range of Android 4.0 tablets for 2012? If you are, Coby Electronics Corporation has announced the availability of four Android 4.0 devices that the company will debuting at CES 2012. These tablets range in sizes from as small as 7” all the way up to a 10” tablet, all of which will feature the same internal hardware with the main difference being in their screen sizes.

The range of tablets include the 7” MID7042, the 8” MID8042, the 9” MID9042, 9.7” MID9742 and the 10” MID1042. They will all feature a 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU, up to 1GB of RAM, expandable memory up to 32GB, WiFi, HDMI output and will all come loaded up on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

They will be marketed as cost effective tablets, and given the specs we can’t help but agree that these Coby tablets should not be breaking the bank any time soon. No word on official pricing or a release date, but they are expected to make an appearance during CES 2012, so check back with us then for more info!
