Android 4.0.3 update delayed for Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S it looks like you guys are in for a bit of a wait regarding the Android 4.0.3 update. We’re guessing Nexus S owners are probably a bit more impatient considering that this update will be bumping the second-generation Nexus handset up to the much anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The reason behind this delay is apparently due to Google flagging the Android 4.0 update for “further review”. We’re guessing that there are some kinks to work out before they feel confident at releasing the update, which we guess is a good thing. After all no one likes an update that ends up “breaking” their phone, right? No word on when the update is expected to start rolling out to Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S devices, but we’ll be keeping a look out for this one.
