For those interested in getting their hands on a solar powered charger for their smartphone, the XD Design solar window charger looks to be a pretty interesting solution, and apparently it packs enough juice to power your smartphone. The charger will supply 1450mAh worth of battery to either your smartphone or tablet via USB port, and it charges by mounting it against the window, as pictured above, where it will be able to capture the most sunlight. The window solar charger is available from Design 3000 and will set you back €50.
