If you’re looking to get Android onto your HP TouchPad but you’re not satisfied with Team CyanogenMod’s alpha offering, Team Xron has released a tweaked version of the port, giving it a facelift and adding in additional apps which may appeal to some.

Essentially under the hood it is still CyanogenMod but with some tweaks to it. As you can see in the photo above, instead of looking like Gingerbread, Team Xron has skinned it so that it appears to be more like Honeycomb, which we guess is rather appropriate given that the TouchPad is a tablet.

Team Xron has also given it some new apps, such as Netflix, Google Music, Google Talk, Flash Player and Swype. If you’ve already installed CyanogenMod on your TouchPad, you will require the ACMEInstaller app to remove it first before installing Xron. For the installation process you can check out the video here.
