Children in Thailand will soon be getting their hands on tablets that will be used in the classrooms, according to the Thai Ministry of Education who will be rolling out a batch of 600 tablets to selected schools. This pilot program will be used to gauge the impact and effectiveness of the usage of tablets in the classroom.

The children receiving these tablets will be ranging from Grade 1 up to Grade 4. It was unclear as to which tablets the Thai government had in mind, but either way the tablets will be used to study the effects of tablets on eyesight, writing and reading abilities, with the results expected early next year. Don’t you wish that you had a tablet while you were in school?
