Spotify lands on Windows Phone

Published

on

Windows Phone owners will be pleased to know that Spotify has finally made its way over onto their platform. It seems like forever, especially since other platforms such as iOS, Android and even MeeGo managed to get their hands on Spotify, but we’re guessing that Windows Phone owners will be satisfied with the Metro UI facelift that was given to the Windows Phone version of the streaming app.

Users will be able to navigate through the app in typical Windows Phone style, with playlist information being able to be displayed on a live tile, which we’ll have to admit is a pretty nice touch and makes great use of the live tile system that Windows Phone has going on. The app should already be available so for those interested in streaming Spotify songs onto their Windows Phone devices should head on down to the Marketplace to check it out.
