Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Honeycomb 3.2 update faces problems

If you’re a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 owner and you’ve received the notification about an update to Android Honeycomb 3.2, you might want to give that update a miss until Samsung releases a fix for the update that has recently been rolled out. It seems that users who have upgraded to Honeycomb 3.2 are reporting several bugs, such as WiFi not connecting with a static IP, and only through DHCP IP.

They also receive error messages saying that the firmware update failed and that they would need to connect to Kies, but even then some reports are saying that they are unable to connect to Kies on their PCs. The auto-rotate feature also seems to have stopped working as well. Samsung has acknowledged that there are issues with the update and are working on a resolution. In the meantime the updates have stopped rolling out, but in case you do receive the notification, you should probably hold off on updating for a while.
