Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 ban in Australia lifted for now

If you have been hoping to get your hands on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia, the Australian Federal Court has overturned Apple’s injunction on the tablet. What this means is that there is a very good chance that Samsung will be able to get the Galaxy Tab 10.1 out in time for Christmas shoppers.

However this lifting of the injunction won’t happen straight away. The judge has granted Apple until this Friday to appeal the recent ruling, so should the appeal be met with success, the tablet goes back to being banned, otherwise Australian shoppers should be able to buy the tablet in no time.
