One of the features that RIM offers their enterprise customers would the BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server). Basically what this does is that it allows the IT admin of the company manage Blackberry devices belonging to the company. It will allow them to grant restricted access, password protect and even remotely wipe lost or stolen devices that may contain sensitive information.

However with the shift having already moved towards Android and iOS devices, in order to maintain a relationship with enterprise companies and existing BES customers, RIM is now offering Blackberry Mobile Fusion. Basically what this does is that it will bring the same protection and remote wiping of data on lost/stolen phones onto Android and iOS devices.

If you are an enterprise user looking to protect the Android and iOS devices in your company, you can head on down to RIM’s website for more information regarding Blackberry Mobile Fusion.
