PayPal Android app updated with NFC support

It was reported a while back that PayPal was planning on add NFC capabilities to their Android app. This would allow NFC capable handsets to simply tap each other in order to conduct a transaction. We’re guessing this would be a quicker and more efficient form of exchanging money between users if you’d rather not deal in cash.

The good news is that the update for the Android PayPal app is finally here, but the catch is that you will require an NFC enabled Android handset to work. The Nexus S springs to mind, so if you own an NFC enabled Android handset, head on down to the Android Market for the download.
