LG Optimus U1 may be the company’s first Android 4.0 device

Residents of South Korea will be pleased to hear that LG may be rolling out their very first Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 handset, the LG Optimus U1. Unfortunately there isn’t much to go on about the device, apart from the photo above and the fact that it will come with an 8MP onboard with a built-in flash.

Some are speculating that due to it’s U1 name, it could be arriving on LG’s very own carrier U+ in South Korea, which suggests that the LG Optimus U1 could be a phone that will not be making its way out of South Korea, but then again we could be wrong. We expect more details to start surfacing over the next couple of days/weeks, so stay tuned!
