LG Optimus 3D to receive “enhanced” Gingerbread update

LG Optimus 3D users will be pleased to know that the company will be releasing the Android Gingerbread 2.3 update during the week of the 21st of November. It is expected to start in Europe with the rest of the world following after, but for those locked onto carriers in the US, you might be receiving the update a little later depending on how long it takes for your carrier to approve the update.

The update has been dubbed as an “enhanced” update by LG, so apart from bringing your firmware up to date and fixing various bugs, users will be able to expect faster HSDPA+ speeds (up to 21Mbps), a new 3D video editor app, improved 2D video stabilization and video recording, and an updated user interface.
