HTC has plans to bring a quad-core tablet into the market in 2012, although that’s not a surprising move given that other manufacturers are eyeing a similar strategy. While the tablet has yet to be officially announced, the HTC Quattro tablet has been detailed along with what appears to be a rendering of the device.

The Quattro will sport a 10.1” 1280×768 display, with NVIDIA’s Tegra-3 quad-core processor under the hood. It will also feature 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio integration and we can only assume it will be loaded up with Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

Oddly enough the Quattro appears to only sport a 2MP rear camera, a feature which we hope will change upon its release. However despite its 2MP sensor, the camera is capable of recording 1080p Full HD videos. We can expect the HTC Quattro to make an appearance at CES 2012.
