Dominos’ Pizza Hero app lets you create and order a pizza from it

Gamers are probably aware of games such as Guitar Hero and DJ Hero, but now there’s a new “Hero” game called Pizza Hero. It’s by Dominos and it’s an iPad app that allows you to make virtual pizzas. The game was designed to simulate what it’s like to make pizzas for Dominos in their stores and there will be a timer that players need to adhere to.

In-game customers will give their reviews and there will be a leaderboard that players can submit their scores to and share via Facebook and Twitter, but here’s the kicker – after you get hungry looking all those virtual pizzas you’ve been making, all you’d have do is press the “Make an order” button and your order will be sent to the store where it will be made and delivered to you.

Of course there’s a limit on what sort of pizza you can make for yourself, meaning no funny/weird looking pizzas. We’re guessing you can go crazy with the toppings and crusts and sauces, but that’s about it. It’s not the first of its kind though, so if you fancy yourself more of a Pizza Hut person, Pizza Hut has an iPad app as well that let’s you place an order through it, minus the games of course.
