Come 4th of October, not only will Apple be announcing their next-generation iPhone, but it’s expected that they will also be unveiling the finalized build of iOS 5 and iCloud, possibly launching them on the same day. One of the much anticipated features of iOS 5 will be its deep Twitter integration, and if you were worried that you might experience the dreaded “fail whale” with the launch of iOS 5, not to worry as Twitter’s engineering VP has stated that the company has beefed up its infrastructure and is confident that should there suddenly be a surge in tweets due to iOS 5, they will be able to handle it.
