T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy S2 rooted

A few days ago we reported that T-Mobile’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 had its source code made available by Samsung. While this is all good, we’re not sure what developers will be able to do with a device that has its bootloader locked, right? Well the good news is that the device has successfully been rooted, thanks to enterprising and hard working developers in the Android community.

The process does not look or sound overly complicated, but then again if you’ve never done it before, we suggest that you should probably think twice before making an attempt, especially since a wrong move could cause your device to brick. However if you know what you’re doing or want to make an attempt, head on down to RootzWiki for the full set of instructions.
