LG Switch concept phone for multitaskers

Some may remember the Kyocera Echo, which was an Android smartphone with a pretty unique and interesting design but failed to take off. It was basically a smartphone that could be flipped open to reveal dual displays, much like the Nintendo 3DS’s design. LG has recently come up with a concept of their own which they’re calling the LG Switch, which has taken the idea of dual screens but put it into a thinner and more nicely designed profile.

The device would feature displays in the front and the back, looking identical either side. Through the use of the accelerometer, the front/back display would activate/deactivate depending on which side it is facing, meaning that if you were to flip the phone around, the screen facing you would activate while the back would deactivate. Apps would continue to run on either side and swapping between apps would just be a flip away. You can check out the concept video here.
