LG releases 3D converter tool for Optimus 3D

Heads up LG Optimus 3D users, it looks like the 3D Game Converter tool is apparently available as an OTA update for you guys. For those who aren’t familiar with the tool, it was unveiled at IFA 2011 and basically what it does is that it takes your Open-GL based 2D games and converts them into 3D for your LG Optimus 3D device.

While it does sound like a good idea, we have yet to actually experience it or see how effective the conversion is, but since it’s a free update and users will have the ability to swap between 2D and 3D, we don’t see why Optimus 3D users should pass this up.
