Group buy deal for Verizon’s HTC Rhyme

If you have plans on buying the HTC Rhyme from Verizon, there’s a chance for you to get your hands on the device at 50% off! Granted it was targeted at the ladies, but apart from its color scheme, its specs aren’t all too horrible and should make for a decent mid-ranged device. 

Now in order to get it 50% off, you will have to “Like” the deal Verizon is offering on their Facebook page. At the moment it looks like it has about 700 likes, which means for now you will be able to get a 25% discount. However if it reaches 2000 likes, the deal will be at 50% discount, so get your friends to help you like it. After liking it, you will have to sign up on Verizon’s Facebook page and when this deal comes to an end, they will send you an email with the appropriate discount code.

It sounds like a pretty good idea and we’ll have to wonder if this is a trend we will start seeing in the near future.
