Google testing out tablet optimized search page

Published

on

For those on tablets, Google has decided to make your life easier by optimizing their search page for viewing on a tablet. It lists the individual search engines, such as News, Images, Videos, etc and has gotten rid of the top navbar, as pictured above. Google has also switched over to the use of buttons for aesthetic reasons, and we guess we can’t really complain. Google has also attempted to not have the search suggestion take up the majority of the screen, which can get annoying at times, especially for those on smartphones. Why not take your tablet for a spin in Google’s new search page for tablets and let us know what you think?
